Aggrivation is part of every digital system. But the time spent looking for each setting will make you impatient and forget a step 3 out of 8 times. Digital take a minute to get to that setting and 1 step forgotten, changes settings you don't want to.

The same buttons are all right there on analog without question you know exactly what dial you're adjusting and you can just grab it move it and be done. This happens hundreds of times as you work with digital.

There isn't that much to learn either, it's very basic but you'll be doing the digital million button pushes to get to the screen needed then changing buttons to set anything on that screen and muting is another button, then back just to make a setting but better check to see which output is active before you touch anything or you'll be going back to the last setting to do it over. I ran into the exact same issues as I had when I used all analog pieces for a fraction of the cost and I could get it set up in 30 minutes where this took a good part of 2 days to work through the exact same steps. You'll need an RTA, sound meter, and the knowledge to use them in a way that can get results from those tools. 3 way xover using best slopes, (only 2 or 3 sound good I can't explain why) and then you can set up 3 EQ settings, that's fine if you only have 3 peaks or dips to cure, you'll only be fixing the biggest issues, no room to really get things flat. The available options tend to be similar to this. It's kind of like you choose one or the other or get both with lower quality but you're still limited in what you can do no matter how you look at it. To say that this is an equalizer is really stretching it if you are also expecting it to be a 3 way X2 xover as well. If you dive onto this like I did you will quickly find out that you will have to make choices of what you think you need and pick out what's most important to you. With the list of all kinds of things on hand, you quickly find out that this piece is really barely able to act as a crossover die to severely limited memory available or CPU power or both. I was hoping this would be the end all and sort out all of my issues. It seems like a whole lot of time is spent trying to get anything digital to come close to what can be done with analog in a few minutes.
